As nice as they are I found them kind of plain. I also wanted the boys to know which one was theirs so I came up with a way to give them a "face-lift". But first I gave Gabriel and Branson their own "project" because these next steps are easy but too delicate for little fingers. They enjoyed painting instead.
Now back to the dressers... I went to Michael's and picked up some wooden figures for 89 cents each. I chose Trains for Branson and Planes for Gabriel. Then I marked the spot in the center of the figure to drill a hole.
Once the hole was drilled I screwed the handle through it. This way there is no glue needed and if I ever choose to use the dressers for something else or the boys out grow the childish pictures, it can be undone with no mess.
Finished product! Now they will know who's is who's and maybe can help put away laundry :)
